A wilderness location and a sensitive connection to Rajasthan’s history and culture await guests at Aman-i-Khás, an outpost on the threshold of Ranthambore National Park inspired by lavish Mughal hunting parties of old. Each of the ten soaring guest tents is beautifully furnished and assigned a personal butler. In-between daily Jeep safaris to catch a glimpse of tigers and other wildlife, guests can enjoy rejuvenating spa treatments or a dip in the traditional step-well pool, before drinks around a communal firepit and dinners lit by flickering candles under a canopy of stars. Aman-i-Khás lies in the Aravalli Hills on the fringes of Ranthambore National Park, in rural Rajasthan, Northern India. On the outskirts of the Ranthambore National Park, ten Mughal-inspired tents overlook a ruggedly beautiful landscape that is home to abundant wildlife. Each one is filled with light and offers an expansive 108 square metres (1,162 square feet) of space, with a soaring bedroom, living area with daybed, dining area and bathroom with free-standing bathtub and shower. Elegantly furnished, the tents are positioned to ensure utmost privacy, each with their own sun deck, ideal for watching passing birdlife. Set in a sun-dappled landscape of dhok trees and brushwood, each of the ten guest tents rises to six metres in height, its canopy sheltering airy living, sleeping and bathing spaces, divided, Mughal-style, by white cotton drapes.
